Where did Art at Aswan Begin....
In 2008 Anna Swanepoel Immigrated to Canada,
She was at a crossroad, starting from scratch again.
As a former artist, spiritual counsellor and farmer she had no idea where to begin, so like always she prayed.
Asking God: What Now?
He Answered: I created within you everything you need to Honor and Serve me.
She knew she is naturally talented in music and arts.
She started painting on her deck, when people walked by they asked for classes -that is were the studio began
During painting sessions people always opened up their hearts and talked about their problems.
That is when Anna started studying Mental Health Counselling and trauma informed expressive arts therapy
with Dr Cathy Malchiodi at the expressive arts therapy institute for the past 15 years
updating her toolbox with the latest science and methods with excellent results
